Every sign maker can print visuals on the big materials like vinyl, faux wood, steel, and aluminum.
Our team’s design-first passion means each sign we create bears a thoughtful concept that is as much about practical function as it is about capturing a feeling.
Design at this level means sculpting the depth and shape of the sign as well as what’s printed on it. Every part of its physical presence empowers the presentation.
How our custom sign design process works:
We begin with a consultation, where you can describe what you’re hoping to accomplish. Our design experts can make recommendations and offer some options that would be most ideal.
Then, our team begins the design work. This process takes into account the sizing and other technical needs of your project, and blends that into a look that suits the tone you’re showcasing. Whether it’s bold or subtle, interpreting those needs into a practical piece is what we love most.
We’ll give you demonstrations at that point for review, and once everything is just right we’ll move on to the finalized production and installation.
Delivery and installation are next. We’ll bring your newly designed sign on site, and make sure it’s set up perfectly. If it’s a monument or pole-mounted sign, we’ll handle the positioning and explain any maintenance or tips for adjusting it you might want to do further down the road.

Where these custom designs can really shine:
Aside from monument signs where depth and physicality are part of the look by necessity, storefronts and vehicles also benefit greatly from customized designs.

Stylized wall graphics are very eye-catching to the passerby, and allow businesses to showcase sales, special offerings, or even simply the main benefit of coming in to explore their shop. This is a powerful way to leverage foot traffic in business parks and shopping centers.
Custom vehicle wraps are some of the best examples of where a creative team can do something special. In this case, we can incorporate the vehicle’s shape and size into the design so the vehicle wrap looks like a natural part of the exterior – like it was always meant to be there.

Reflective signs are another apt usage of custom designs. These are meant to be placed along the street and at entrances, and maintain visibility at night with their reflective surfaces.
Since peripheral visibility is poor at night, the shape, color, and layout are significant here. Reflective signs have to stand out and be immediately understood as wayfinding tools – where the viewer might only have a few seconds to take it in.
Aluminum signs are similar to reflective varieties since they’re also metallic and often used outdoors. These are long term signage, popular for marking off specialized or restricted areas, parking zones, and more.
These signs don’t necessarily have a sense of depth to them like other signs, so color choices and shape are all the more significant.
However, aluminum signs are great long term outdoor signage because of their resistance to corrosion, wear, and fading.
